Applies the properties of one object to one or more other objects.

Description

The MatchProp command copies the properties of a source object — such as layer, colour, line type, and line weight — to one or more destination objects. This is useful for quickly making objects consistent without editing each one individually.

Workflow

1. Type M A and press Space or Enter.

2. Select source object: Click the object whose properties you want to copy.

3. Select destination objects: Click each object that should receive the source properties.

4. Press Enter or Escape to end the command.

Properties copied

• Layer

• Colour

• Line type

• Line weight

Tips

• The Properties panel (Ctrl+1) can also be used to manually set properties on selected objects.

• MatchProp is most efficient when you need to apply the same layer or style to many objects at once.
